I get that, but I also don’t think that for the character that Allison is, that it would have been believable for her to just up and leave her friends. For her to leave Lydia, or Isaac, or Scott, or Stiles, or any of them at all. They were her family, all of them, and she never had that when she used to move around before.
Also I think that the fierceness of which she would always protect any of them, and get annoyed when she was held back from doing so, shows that she wouldn’t have left Beacon Hills of her own accord. It would have been nice, yes, for her to have moved on with her life and carried on being the badass girl that she was, but to me that wouldn’t have felt very in character of Allison if it had happened that way.
It sucks, yeah, that another girl character was killed, but at least they didn’t do it just for the sake of it. They had a reason (Crystal leaving), and killing her off was probably the most in character way if we’re being honest here. She was a warrior, and she went down in a fight for her friends. And that’s very Allison-esque if you ask me.
(On the romance thing you’re forgetting that she’s what, 17(?) at that point (i think, i know she had a birthday in s1 so I dunno if she aged up by s3 or not). She was in love, she was young, and there’s nothing wrong with saying goodbye to someone you love when you’re dying. Letting them know that you still did love them).
